We loved the warmer weather in April and certainly made the most of a sunny Easter to enjoy trips to the park and the beach. We also fitted in some fabby car free adventures and a lot of chocolate.
I’m delighted that the traffic to the site is SHOOTING up! We had four (yes FOUR) times as many page views in April as we did in December. I’m so pleased that there are so many parents in Exeter who are finding Exeter Baby Activities so useful.
Early in the month, Natalie Trice shared her favourite places to go in Exeter. As Natalie has only recently joined us in the South West, it is great to see the region through fresh eyes. Natalie takes us to her favourite cafes, Exeter Cathedral, RAMM, the Quayside and Central Library.
I updated one of my older posts – 3 fabulous places to meet other mums in Exeter . Being a new mum is a wonderful experience but it can also be very confusing and lonely. It’s important to build yourself a strong network and these are some of my top tips for meeting other mums.
Easter week was a joy in Devon – we had such a blast. You can read all about our time on Dartmoor, trips to the beach, beautiful art work in a cinema and days at the allotment – Family Life Exeter, week one of the Easter holiday.
Despite the glorious weather, the girls were desperate to try out the new indoor trampoline park, iBounce Indoor Trampoline Park Exeter. We had a blast!
I had lots of lovely messages (thank you everyone who took the time to email me, it really is appreciated) about my 3 Fantastic Car Free Family Adventures in Exeter post. Sometimes it’s the journey there that makes a day out so special and when you have amazing train routes, the UK’s oldest ferry and smugglers’ tunnels to choose from, you are bound to have a perfect day.
And I couldn’t review April without talking about the Exeter Baby Activities Family Favourite Awards! A huge thank you to everyone who has help spread the word, everyone who has nominated and our amazing sponsors who have made all possible.
Our panel of judges met at the end of the month to review all the nominations and to select the four finalists in each category. Each finalist will have the opportunity to make submissions before the final judging in May.
I’d love to hear all about your month too – comment below and let me know your favourite family friendly Exeter activity this month.
