We recognise that community services can often appear to be geared around the needs of Mothers. Dads can feel left out. However, we feel that fathers have an equally important role to play with their children and have needs of their own – after all children don’t come with “instructions!” and a parent’s role can be very demanding for both Mums and Dads.
This group that we run at the Centre one Saturday each month is just for dads or other male carers and their children aged under 5; older brothers and sisters (up to age 11) are welcome to come with their younger siblings.
There are lots of things to play with together, access to our lovely gardens, a structured activity each session plus drinks and a snack. It is a time to play with your children and talk to other dads. No booking needed just drop in.
Their site says it’s on the second Saturday of each month but please check first.
